Parents must inform the club of any relevant medical conditions or injuries, and ensure their child is fit to participate.
Players must not enter the mat area before coaches are present. The club accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained during this time.
You are expected to purchase and wear appropriate judo kit and keep it clean.
By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that they are expected to obtain a valid British Judo Association licence within four weeks of joining. Failure to obtain and maintain this licence may result in the suspension of training until the requirement is met.
The club is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings and accepts no liability for injuries
Judo is a full contact sport. While every effort is made to ensure safety, injuries — while unlikely — can and do happen. The club does not accept liability for such injuries which may occur.
All coaches are DBS-checked, and safeguarding procedures are in place; any concerns should be reported immediately.
All students and spectators are expected to uphold the highest standards of behaviour, showing respect to coaches, fellow members, and the training environment at all times. Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated. The club reserves the right to suspend or cancel any membership, without refund, in cases where behaviour standards are not met.
Parents and guardians are expected to ensure children arrive on time for their sessions and are collected promptly at the end. Please do not arrive excessively early for sessions, as supervision cannot be guaranteed before class start times. Lateness will not be tolerated as it increases the risk of injury due to missing the warm-up. The club reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership in cases of repeated lateness.
Photographs and videos may be taken during sessions for use on the club’s social media and promotional materials. If you do not wish for your child to appear in these images, please inform us in writing.
Prices are subject to change and any changes will be communicated to members in advance.
In the event that a scheduled session is cancelled by the club, you will be offered a replacement session at any of our other venues.
Should you wish to cancel your membership, we require a minimum of one month’s written notice.
By enrolling your child in the club, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions and ensure that your child participates in a safe and respectful manner.
